Sam and the Fox began their shenanigans back in the 90s, in the darkest alleys of the gloomiest suburb.

Dreams of a world where Skynet has taken over: robots, electricity, a dystopian future, a nuclear winter, a hole in the ozone layer.

Yet their music speaks not only of Suvilahti’s cold metallic despair during the recession era but also offers warm glimpses of joy from hazy summer days on Ahvensaari beach. Loitering around the shopping mall.

Techno, House, Electro. That’s what good lives are made of. And robots.

DJ Kenth
(Meltdown Deejays, Itä-Helsinki)

As a core member of the Meltdown Deejays Collective, DJ Kenth has been turning dance floors into playgrounds from the moment he lugged his turntables home from Mustapörssi in the mid-90s.

He began throwing parties in Vaasa as a youngster, feeding the growing hunger for beats among ravers.

Now based in East Helsinki, Kenth seamlessly navigates between the jetset and the everyday, constantly seeking fresh inspiration and new perspective.

Known for his unpredictable sets, he blends driving house beats, tropical rhythms, deep techno and quirky melodies into soundscapes that lift the energy above the SKYline. Prepare to be swept onto a magic carpet ride, where every track feels like a surprise destination!

He advises you to grab a Jallumate (or two) and make sure you’re on the floor after midnight.

The experience provided by the DJ to the dancefloor can come in an infinite amount of shapes and forms. This is #106, a DJ seeking to make delicious sonic soup out of ingredients from different underground genres.

This time around, groovy techno with a hint of acid and dub, adding a finishing touch of 90s sounds and melancholic trance, expect raw energy on the dance floor when E106 fires up the stove.
